Agastya Charitable Foundation in association with canasu Dream Foundation,Youthphoriya, and Y’s Men International organised a Free Multispeciality health camp called Aarogyave Aasthi 2019 for the slum and underprivileged people coming from white field and nearby areas on 27th January 2019 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Convent KHPS, Whitefield, Bangalore.
The Mega Health Camp offered free health check-up in medical specialties of E.N.T, Pediatrics, General Medicine, Dental checkup, Eye screening, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Oncology, Dermatology, Diabetes check-up, Diabetes Retinopathy. Free Medicines and free spectacles were provided to deserving beneficiaries. The total number of beneficiaries that availed the benefit of this free mega health camp was 803 across all medical practices.
The inauguration of Aaarogyave Aasthi 2019 was done by Y’s Men P.V Dominick. Many senior leaders of Y’s Men international graced the occasion. Mr. Mohammed Shoaib, President of Canasu dream foundation and Sasha Kulothungan, Chairperson of Agastya charitable foundation were also present at the event.
This event was a grand success due to the untiring support and help given by Principal Sister Arogya Mary, St. Joseph’s Convent KHPS, as well as the dedication and selfless service of the medical teams from Vydehi Hospital, M.R Ambedkar dental, Drishti eye hospital and Artilus.
The event was concluded with a valedictory function, whose chief guest was Dr. Vani Rao, founder and managing director of Youthphoriya Health and wellness center, Kasturi Nagar.
Dr. Vani Rao distributed certificate and tokens of appreciation were distributed to the medical teams and supporters of the event. Special recognition was given to the youth volunteers of Jain University, enthusiastic students and staff members of St Joseph’s convent KHPS for their voluntary services. Organizers felicitated Dr. Vani Rao and Mr. Suraj Mohan for their selfless support towards the success of this event.
